I started in this trade the way a lot of people don’t - by pulling down a vapor barrier in a crawl space in 1998 that looked like it had been installed by someone who hated the homeowner. It was black with mold, held up with roofing nails, and it taught me everything I needed to know about what happens when you skip the details. Since 2016, we’ve sealed and insulated over 9,000 homes across the network, and I still walk every Palo Alto job site at least once. I carry a blower-door fan in my truck because I don’t trust a job is done until I see the number. Stack effect - the way warm air rises and pulls cold air in at your base - hits harder here than most owners expect, especially in the older ranch homes off Middlefield Road where the top plates were never sealed in 1957. I live in Santa Clara County. My dog’s name is unimportant. What matters is that your written scope matches what we actually did, and that the photo record proves it.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running attic crews for eleven years, the last four with us in Palo Alto.
